Who we are
This site is run by Vivencia, at De Entree 201, 1101HG, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under 93886411. We are the controller of the personal information described here. For anything on this page, write to hello@vivencia.global. A person reads that address and will answer.
What we collect and why
When you RSVP to a Vivencia Moments dinner we collect your name, company, role, LinkedIn address, email address and phone number. We use them to review your RSVP, confirm your seat, send you the venue and the details, introduce you to other guests, and make the introductions we promise within forty-eight hours of the evening.
If you accept a seat we also ask about dietary requirements. We pass those to the restaurant and nothing else, and we delete them after the dinner.
If you tick the optional box, we will also write to you about future Vivencia Moments dinners. That is entirely separate, and you can stop it at any time.
When you visit this site we collect standard technical information such as browser type, device and approximate location, which our platform records to keep the site working and secure. Our emails may record whether you opened them and which links you clicked.
Our basis for using it
Your consent, given by ticking the boxes on the RSVP form. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to hello@vivencia.global and we will delete your details.
Withdrawing does not affect anything we did before you withdrew.
Who else sees it
Our website and email platform, systeme.io, which stores this information for us. The restaurant, which receives a guest list and dietary requirements only. Other guests at the table, but only your name and company, and only after we have asked you first.
We do not sell, rent or trade your details. We do not share them with advertisers, sponsors or partners.
People we introduce you to. If an introduction is to someone who was not at the table, we will ask you first before passing on your name and details.
Where it goes
Your information is stored in the European Union. Our platform provider holds it on Amazon Web Services servers in Ireland, encrypted, and we hold our own copies in the Netherlands.
If you are in Korea, this means your information leaves Korea when you send it to us. The recipient is Vivencia in the Netherlands, at the address above. We use it only for the purposes described above and keep it only for the period described above. The European Commission recognises the Republic of Korea as offering an equivalent standard of protection, and the same standards apply in both directions.
How long we keep it
Twelve months after the event, then we delete it. Dietary requirements are deleted immediately after the dinner. If you ticked the optional box, we keep your name and email address until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to function. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though parts of the site may then not work properly.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to our using it, or receive it in a portable format. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Write to hello@vivencia.global and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl. If you are in Korea, you can also contact the Personal Information Protection Commission at pipc.go.kr.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top of this page.
